Misty & The Slug Share Debut EP 'Wish Bone'
Brand new band Misty & The Slug see in the Halloween season with their spookily good debut EP Wish Bone. Now split between Tāmaki Makaurau and New York, duo Misty Rhodes and Suzy Slug spent their fleeting lockdown winter learning how to write and create music together, culminating in five sinister bedroom-punk tracks, mastered by Jeremy Toy and mixed by Lips' Fen Ikner. Featuring Ruby Walsh (Dateline, Lips and UTR Trash Recital) and Brooklyn artist Eva DeMeo, Misty & The Slug call their debut release a "romantic ode to nothing in particular", touching on the fragility of relationships on synth-pop banger 'Fake Love' and acoustic emo closer 'Don't Even'.
