Tāmaki hip hop artist Deadforest returns with another explosive single from his soon-to-drop debut album Plastic. Following the ground-shaking bass, strings and synth of track 'Day One', Deadforest picks up where he left off on new cut 'Loud & Clear'. As with the rest of Plastic, 'Loud & Clear' is produced by long-time collaborator Dera Meelan, and features fiery bars from Church & AP's Albert Purcell. Cranking up the tempo from his last single, Deadforest launches into verse one with a mini-skit, acting out a painful back-and-forth with a fan that won't quit with their own luke-warm reckons. The rest of the track is loaded with slick rap lyrics, assuring fans that he has no shortage of new ideas and fresh beats — a point made loud and clear with a catchy as hell chorus saying "Hold your tongue for one second, oh my G you done did it".
