Skymning Drops 'Relentless / Lost My Way'
After two weeks at the number one spot in the bFM charts with Totems collab 'On My Job', Skymning is back with double drop 'Lost My Way' and 'Relentless', the final two singles before RELENTLESS is out in full next Friday via Bankrupt Records. As with student radio favourite 'On My Job', the album's title track was also recorded with massively missed Tāmaki gem Reuben Samuel Winter (Milk, Totems), who passed away last September. The soul-stirring electric guitar on 'Relentless' was performed in Auckland by Winter in 2015, with Skymning producing and wrapping it up while in Melbourne last year, whereas second track 'Lost My Way' was recorded just in March this year "in the middle of the night following an extended (continued?) bout of anxiety in Titirangi", making the tracks on RELENTLESS span more than five years of collaborative work between dream team Skymning and Totems. The producer dives into the two new releases on his Bandcamp page here, as he's done for singles so far 'Te Pō', 'Lost a Friend', 'On My Job' and 'Lost In Thought'. Less than two weeks to go before RELENTLESS is unveiled in it's entirety — listen to the latest offering now...
Skymning's album 'RELENTLESS' is out November 13th via bankrupt records.
