The Temple Unveil Self-Titled Debut Album
Tāmaki Makaurau black / death metal duo The Temple's soul-scorching September single 'Hell Incarcerate' was just a taste of the unholy barrage unleashed upon listeners with their self-titled debut album. Recorded, mixed and mastered by J. Saint Merat of Ulcerate, The Temple is the sonic vision of P.K. and J.W., assembling unassailable walls of guitar / bass / drums over six epic-scale tracks — oscillating from furiously breakneck to bone-crushingly glacial, with occasional atmospheric passages offering little respite from the collection's intensely focussed, darkly esoteric aura. We're betting The Temple would be a fearsome live experience to behold, delve into their first long player here...
'The Temple' is out now via major streaming services.
