A rough day for Michaels but a stunner for everyone else, Dbldbl aka Liam Dargaville (Te Rarawa, Ngā Puhi) delivers the Friday feels on massive new track 'Big Mike', featuring Tāmaki rapper / producer PollyHill and Berlin via Aotearoa hot shot L V J. Out today on Auckland imprint Sunreturn, the fresh drop calls out "the typically socially ‘connected’, repeat transgressor" getting away with their bullshit thanks to status and assumed ignorance — Mike being the choice word "coz I got beef right now with this one dude named Michael". While L V J hits out on the "Fuckboys™, Softboys™ and other regular offenders of your local social scene" on their fire verse, PollyHill aka Paloma Schneideman delves into the gatekeeping 'Big Mike's of the world, and speaking on the track said "let’s sit back and watch these Mikes play themselves, cos they inevitably will, and we’ll be laughing from the cheap seats".
