PollyHill and Samara Alofa Drop Collaborative Single 'Void'

For the lucky folks who caught the To The Front Tāmaki Makaurau fundraiser show on Wednesday night (skip to 2:38:50 here for the live preview), the excellence of today's new track 'Void' from emcee PollyHill and vocalist Samara Alofa will come as no surprise. Although this is the first official shared release from the two fast-rising talents, the pair first started collaborating together as flat mates, co-creating "as emotional output during introspective moments" — and this is only a taste of more to come. Rapper PollyHill aka multi-disciplinary artist Paloma Schneideman says her bars reflect her "community (who I consider to be like the artists, the queers, the women, the othered) and specifically, my friends, who seemed really sad at the time of its creation".
