Recognising five years and 275 episodes of music interview miniseries Recharted, host with the most Finn Johansson is farewelling his flagship RadioActive.fm show with a magical evening of handpicked local acts. Recharted Fest will be the Pōneke hot spot come January 29th, taking over San Fran with sets from neo-soul rapper NahBo, Americana folk charmer Emily Fairlight, indie-pop newcomer Wiri Donna, punk heroes Unsanitary Napkin, raucous rockers Ingrid & The Ministers, and creator of lush atmospheres George Johnston. With a lineup that fresh and Johansson himself emceeing the evening, tickets won't be hanging around long...

UPDATE 26/01/22: Recharted Fest has been cancelled — the seated In Loving Memory: Ingrid And The Ministers, Wiri Donna, Nahbo seated show paying "homage to to Finn (Johansson)'s 5 year residency at RadioActive" will be happening in its place. For details see HERE.

After 5 years and more than 275 charmingly revealing conversations with the finest musicians underground Aotearoa has to offer, Finn Johansson is hanging up his hat as the force behind RadioActive.fm's flagship music minidoco series Recharted.

To celebrate, Finn and Radio Active are throwing – and there's no easy way to put this – the coolest show you probably will ever see.

With a lineup hand picked by Finn from the Recharted interview archives which runs the gamut from the internationally recognised Anarcho-Punk of Unsanitary Napkin to Americana fave Emily Fairlight, from the Astronesian Neo-Soul of NahBo to the lush ambience of George Johnston, there's room for everyone to indulge their favourite genres while immersing themselves in the crème de la crème of perhaps unfamiliar tones. Rounding this eye watering selection off are two of the sickest band-leading femmes in the motu, Ingrid and the Ministers and Wiri Donna.
