Hans. Drops Single / Video 'Be Grateful'

Kiwi-Korean rapper and production wunderkind Hans. has dropped a storming new dance track, packaged with a borderline scandalous foot fetish video created with the support of NZ On Air. Citing inspiration from such contemporary electronic club movers as Korean house artist Park Hye Jin (as well as Azealia Banks’ '212'), the booty-shaking ‘Be Grateful’ synergises perfectly with ACMPNY's irreverent visuals and are sure to raise eyebrows on your office (probably not NSFW though). Repping a back catalogue including collabs with international indie star Clairo (2017 streaming hit 'Froyo'), Imugi 이무기, bb gurl, and praise from none other than Zane Lowe, Hans. explained exactly where the idea for his cheeky new clip came from...

“The foot fetish thing especially has been an inside joke between my friend group for years. One of my friends used to sell pictures of their feet online and make some decent money, and that made me wonder at the time if I could sell mine. I never got around to it but yeah, that’s where the feet inspiration came from.

During lockdown I got really into the videos made by Balming Tiger, Lil Cherry and even went back to a lot of Tyler the Creator’s old videos. I wanted to channel a similar energy of being real whacky, yet fun."
