Al Park Announces New Album 'Pony' + Unveils Single / Video 'California'

Lyttelton songwriting legend Al Park was recently the focus of a tribute record featuring such significant local talents as Marlon Williams, Jordan Luck, Barry Saunders, Anita Clark (Motte), Adam McGrath (The Eastern), Adam Hattaway and Delaney Davidson. A pivotal figure in Canterbury's live music community, the former frontman of Louie and the Hotsticks and hugely influential Al’s Bar proprietor (among his many accomplishments) has revealed his first album in over twenty years Pony will be launching in May, unveiling today lead single / video combo 'California'. Produced by Hattaway and Elmore Jones (who also play on the record), Pony is "an Americana, country rock album featuring songs written by Al from the 1970's to now."
