Spacey Jane New Dates Announced For New Zealand Tour

Chris Cudby / Wednesday 13th April, 2022 10:00AM

Perth alt-pop foursome Spacey Jane have announced their much-delayed Aotearoa tour is now locked in for July, serendipitously heading our way just after their forthcoming second album It’s Been a Long Day is unleashed upon the world. The team of Caleb Harper, Kieran Lama, Ashton Hardman-Le Cornu and Peppa Lane have attracted a fervent fanbase since getting the ball rolling in 2016, and are no doubt fizzing to play to overseas crowds following the massive global success of their sparkling debut album Sunlight, which dropped just as the pandemic slammed the brakes on touring in 2020. Catch them at the new dates below, plus note the new, larger venues due to hot demand in Auckland and Wellington...

Spacey Jane

Tuesday 26th July - Shed 6, Wellington [new venue, all ages]
Thursday 28th July - Christchurch Town Hall, Christchurch
Saturday 30th July - Auckland Town Hall, Auckland [new venue, all ages]

Tickets available via Live Nation

Press release:

Perth-based indie rock foursome Spacey Jane have grown into one of Australia's most-loved bands since their last Kiwi outing in early 2019.

Fans will be treated to songs from the band’s 2020 hit debut album Sunlight. After entering Australia’s ARIA chart at #2, four tracks from the album were voted into triple j's Hottest 100 including fan-favourite Booster Seat taking out the #2 spot. The single subsequently soared into the ARIA Top 10 singles chart, achieved platinum sales and drove the band to accumulate over 88 million streams.

Front man Caleb Harper, guitarist Ashton Hardman-Le Cornu, bassist Peppa Lane and drummer/manager Kieran Lama spent the first half of this year playing sold out shows across Australia’s east coast, and this will be their first overseas trip since the start of the pandemic.
