Set to open for Phoebe Bridgers’ upcoming Tampa show, twenty-one year old Pasadena-based songwriter Charlie Hickey releases his debut album Nervous At Night via the widely beloved US artist's imprint Saddest Factory Records. Produced by Marshall Vore, the slow-scorching record delves into the coming of age whirlwind of noise that is the “constant push and pull of life.” Interwoven with folk elements, Nervous At Night celebrates the support of those around us, offering solace to us, as much as the process of recording it does for Hickey — whose back-and-forth between the haven of his hometown and the expanse of his independence are largely still experienced through the lens of his inner child…
