
Substax Unveil New Album 'Linear Shift'
Tāmaki Makaurau-based electro / soul duo Substax, aka Nick Farrands and Claudia Gunn, share their sophomore album Linear Shift today, more than a decade and a half following their 2005 debut long player Electro Soul Plane. A fifteen track collection of lush, club-friendly instrumentals produced by Farrands and insightful songs written with Gunn, Linear Shift further refines Substax's sound in a ‘linear evolution’ of their atmospheric, genre-straddling style. Fans may have noticed the lack of single releases for the album, a deliberate choice by the duo to present their record as a complete body of work — hit play on Linear Shift below...
