Live Photos: Cate Le Bon - Meow, Wellington

Welsh avant-pop sensation Cate Le Bon played her first Aotearoa events since 2019 over the long weekend, kicking off the first of two NZ headline dates at an absolutely crammed Meow in the capital on Saturday, with band and special guest Vera Ellen. Photographer Bruce Mackay headed along to document the artist touring her superb new album Pompeii, remarking "I have never seen Meow as packed as this show. You could hardly move." Le Bon also performed at Tāmaki's opulent The Hollywood on Sunday and will soon be appearing at Tasmania's Dark Mofo festival (where this fan will finally get to see her).
