Joan As Police Woman aka NYC songwriter Joan Wasser returned to Aotearoa for a triple date nationwide tour over the weekend, following the release of a whopping three long players while our borders were closed to international artists — Live (2021), Cover Two (2020) and The Solution Is Restless, a collaboration with legendary Afrobeat percussionist Tony Allen (who passed away in April 2020) and Dave Okumu (The Invisible).
