Bay Dreams 2023 Festival Lineup Announced — Diplo, Denzel Curry, Freddie Gibbs + More

An absolutely monster-sized lineup of international and local superstars has been announced for Bay Dreams 2023, happening at Trustpower Baypark in Mount Maunganui on 3rd January and at Trafalgar Park in Nelson on 5th January. Headlined by ten-time Grammy nominated production powerhouse Diplo, alongside such global heavyweights as US rap giants Denzel Curry (touring new album Melt My Eyez See Your Future), Yung Lean and Freddie Gibbs, British drum & bass figureheads Hybrid Minds bringing their Outline show down under with singer Charlotte Haining, Australian drill crew OneFour, English electronic pop songwriter SG Lewis, UK dubstep producer Flux Pavilion and a whole lot more, the multi-venue summer festival also boasts a small army of local artists bringing the party to both regions. Festival favourite ‘Bay Dreams’ is back with fresh branding and a new purpose – to create the ultimate festival experience that Aotearoa has to offer. The event is back to its full potential and set to be one of the highlight festivals of the summer.

Bay Dreams 2023 will be held at Trustpower Baypark in Mount Maunganui on January 3rd and at Trafalgar Park in Nelson on January 5th. Returning to summer hotspots Mount Maunganui and Nelson, Bay Dreams 2023 will feature a diverse lineup of long-awaited international talent and world-class production.

The festival welcomes one of the most dynamic forces in music today, Diplo! This ten-time Grammy nominated artist has just released his solo album self-titled ‘Diplo’, which features the global hit “Don’t Forget My Love”. He is also known as a founding member of Major Lazer, as well as one half of ‘Jack U’ with Skrillex. He has amassed billions of streams and is known as one of the greatest producers of our generation. Diplo has also collaborated with some of the world’s biggest artists including Dua Lipa, Justin Bieber and Sia, and has headlined many of the biggest festivals in the world.
