Watch Jim Nothing's Video For New Single 'Yellow House'

Tāmaki Makaurau songwriting dynamo Jim Nothing aka James Sullivan (Salad Boys, Wellness) today shares 'Yellow House', the lead single from debut album In The Marigolds, dropping this spring via Aotearoa's Melted Ice Cream and Madrid imprint Meritorio Records. A sizzling slice of citrusy splendour, Sullivan is joined on the insta-catchy ode to their abode by co-vocalist Anita Clark (Motte) — who sings and plays violin throughout the new long player, joined by fellow instrumental contributors Brian Feary (who also recorded, produced and mastered the record), Ben Odering and Paul Brown. Filmed amidst the overgrown, gottage-friendly lawns of suburban Grey Lynn, the snappily dressed artist's self-directed video for 'Yellow House' is replete with DIY pizzazz, made with assistance from Frances Carter for camera and edits. Expressing inner visions via backyard arts and crafts, munching on some veges, showing off their juggling skills — these delights and more can be found in Jim Nothing's 'Yellow House'...

Listen to 'Yellow House' plus the woozy title track to In The Marigolds...

'In The Marigolds' releases on Thursday 15th September via Melted Ice Cream and Meritorio Records, vinyl preorders available HERE.
