Barreling out of Blenheim / Waiharakeke, post-punk trio Big Scout have a fresh album in the can titled Council Sport, launching on 18th August via Aotearoa's Melted Ice Cream, part of a 2022 hot streak of releases from the imprint that includes superb records from Ben Woods and Violet French. What's a new album without a launch tour? No need to ponder that brain-teaser, as the team of Jim Tannock, Matthew Hellriegel, Gregg Slatter have assembled an all-killer six date trek across our fair nation, joined by guests King Ketchup, Joe Sampson and the Growing Health Concerns, Pretty Dumb, Griptape, Team Scary, the aforementioned Violet French and more.
