Obey The Riff '22 Festival Lineup Announced ft. Beastwars, Stälker + More

If there's one law metal maniacs universally adhere to, it's that we all must Obey The Riff. Aotearoa heavy music lovers will be making their pilgrimage to Upper Hutt's Panhead Custom Ales in Brewtown for a special Halloween edition of the Obey The Riff festival, headlined for its third incarnation by Pōneke's legendary Beastwars. They'll be joined by the capital's speed metal warriors Stälker (Napalm Records), Whanganui's Pull Down The Sun (whose 2020 album Of Valleys and Mountains channels and explores their Māori heritage), Tāmaki Makaurau sludge doom crew Demons Of Noon and even more sonically uncompromising acts be announced, for "an epic day & night celebrating some of the very best doom, rock and metal acts that the country has to offer."
