Deva Mahal Announces Release Tour For 'FUTURE CLASSIC: VOL 1 – CLASSIC' EP

Hawaii-born / Wellington-based soul and RnB powerhouse Deva Mahal has announced her first new collection of songs since the pre-pandemic days of 2018, striding into a new era with the launch of her FUTURE CLASSIC: VOL 1 – CLASSIC EP on 4th November. Shortlisted for the 2021 APRA Silver Scroll award (for 'Stand In'), Mahal will be celebrating her new EP with a four date tour featuring full band from release day onwards — including headline dates at Auckland's opulent Civic Wintergarden, Napier's MTG, Christchurch's Isaac Theatre Royal and the capital's Isaac Theatre Royal. The incomparable Deva Mahal has today announced a four-date New Zealand tour, which will mark the highly-anticipated release of her new EP, FUTURE CLASSIC: VOL 1 – CLASSIC.

Unequivocally one of Aotearoa’s most astounding recording and touring artists, Deva is set to release a new single in the lead up to the tour. ‘Run Me Through’ is out October 7, giving fans a taste of what’s to come on FUTURE CLASSIC: VOL 1 – CLASSIC (EP to be released November 4). And of course, a sneak peek of her new live show.

Having graced stages at iconic venues and festivals around the world, from the Hollywood Bowl to Carnegie Hall; and the Byron Bay Blues Festival to the Montreal Jazz Fest; Deva’s mastery of her craft and generosity of soul are unparalleled.
