Finn Johansson Shares Single 'You Look Down At Me'

Chris Cudby / Wednesday 9th November, 2022 12:10PM

Formerly based in Pōneke and now firmed ensconced in Tāmaki Makaurau's vibrant musical community, Finn Johansson's new single 'You Look Down At Me' is the first release from his forthcoming 9-5 Season 1 mixtape, launching on 18th November. A gently uplifting, emotionally brave guitar-pop ballad, the song ponders "the deeply un-mundane things we feel, while we’re doing deeply mundane things," as Johansson croons forthright lines like "I’m scared to sing something new / I don’t want it to be ‘cause of you."

The multi-talented tunesmith is currently in the thick of his Nine To Five crowdfunding project, creating brand new music during live-streamed consecutive 40 hour work weeks. Read more about and support directly Johansson's dream to be a full-time artist HERE, plus don't miss the indefatigable songwriter performing with Ingrid and the Ministers at Whammy Backroom this Friday, and playing support for Greta O’Leary's Treasure Horse EP release show at The Wine Cellar on Saturday...
