Student Radio Network Award Winners Announced For 2022

Inarguably Aotearoa's most inclusive and wholesome music awards, the 2022 SRN (Student Radio Network) Awards took place on a fairly rainy Saturday evening, based this year at the University of Otago's Main Common Room with satellite presentations across the country — simulcast online and co-presented by NZ On Air and Naked PR. Along with a bevy of regional awards dished out by member stations 95bFM, Radio Control 99.4FM, Radio Active 88.6FM, RDU 98.5FM and Radio One 91FM, a host of nationwide accolades were announced on the night. An absolutely crucial celebration of our diverse musical community, unconstrained by commercial shackles and fusty dated notions of radio-ready songcraft, scope out this year's sterling list of nationwide SRN Award winners (decided by the Programme Directors from each SRN station) and the 2022 SRN Top Ten. Watch the full video stream below, including live performances by Amamelia and DARTZ, plus some wild intro clips by Sports Team, Night Lunch, Chabs & Milky and more...
