WOMAD NZ 2023 New Acts Announced - Fantastic Negrito, Taraf De Caliu, MEUTE, Astor Piazzolla + More

WOMAD NZ 2023 have unveiled even more additions to the New Plymouth festival's dazzlingly diverse bill, with four new international artists plus two Aotearoa acts joining the already jam-packed musical programme. Announced today are Grammy-winning US rock / funk / RnB activist Fantastic Negrito, Romany folk supergroup Taraf de Caliu, German techno marching band MEUTE and Argentinan Grammy Award-winning ensemble Astor Piazzolla, with the local contingent now including Pacifica Women's ensemble Le Moana and Pōneke-based Japanese drum team Narukami Taiko.
