Less than 90 minutes drive away from the hustle and bustle of Auckland City, boutique music and lifestyle extravaganza Earth Beat Festival returns to Kaipara's Ātiu Creek Regional Park early next year from 22nd to 26th March. Happening in sync with the autumn equinox, the fifth Earth Beat offers not only a curated selection of crowd-moving musical acts from across the globe, but also a diverse programme of workshops and presentations — encompassing yoga, mindfulness, nutrition and health, dance, sustainable living, ancient crafts, drumming and more — plus art installations / events, comedy, poetry and kids activities. Happening across four stages, international guests include UK dub icon Mad Professor and Mo’ Horizons (Germany), performing alongside local festival favourites The Black Seeds, Pitch Black, Lou'ana, Isaac Chambers & Dub Princess and Lost Tribe Aotearoa.

A "completely zero-waste event where participants bring their own reusable plates, cutlery, cups and bottles, no consumables on-site and nothing is served in any type of single use or compostable consumable," Earth Beat co-creator Issac Oron articulated how the family friendly independent festival strives to inspire — via a sustainable, harmonious and regenerative vision for events in Aotearoa and beyond..

“Earth Beat came about by a group of friends interested in providing a space where people could share and learn about new ways of living that are in greater harmony with our planet.

Earth Beat is an opportunity for people to experience our kaupapa that is based on a world where life is not only sustainable but regenerative; a world where we focus on potential and where individual contributions are aligned with the greater good, living in harmony with the natural rhythm of our bodies and the beat of the Earth.” — festival co-creator Issac Oron
