Touring throughout Aotearoa this week, Boston's alt-rock pioneers Pixies hit the stage at Auckland Town Hall last night for the first of two super city events, before they head southwards this Saturday for a sold out Come On Pilgrim… It’s Surfer Rosa extravaganza at Christchurch Town Hall. Performing a set of "major hits and fan favourites" from their widely beloved back catalogue in Tāmaki Makaurau (they're also playing a second Auckland Town Hall event this evening), photographer Rachel van Luyt documented the iconic group in action plus local special guests, noise-punk veterans Die!
