Mads Harrop Announces Dunedin Headline Show

Ōtepoti songwriter Mads Harrop has announced a headline show at Dive Bar in May with band and special guests Powder Chutes. Currently studying at the University of Otago, the honours student went to the top of the New Zealand student radio Music Charts in 2020 with her mega catchy single 'Contagious World', and is currently working towards the release of her debut record as part of her university project. Diagnosed with Tourette's Syndrome at the age of 19, Mads Harrop’s songs are often informed about her experiences with neurodiversity (including living with Asperger's Syndrome and anxiety), a theme of her 2022 single ‘Hiding in Colour’. Joining Mads Harrop will be Wanaka’s rock powerhouse, Powder Chutes, who’s debut EP Sweet Noise Pollution was released in January 2022 — catch both acts on 13th May
