Community Garden Presents Ehua — Auckland Show Announced
Tāmaki Makaurau club innovators Community Garden are back in action with their first event for 2023 announced today, headlined by Italian-Ivorian producer and DJ Ehua aka Celine Angbeletchy. Monthly resident DJ on legendary London community station Rinse FM, Ehua has unfurled a diversity of body-moving, percussively energising releases via such globally influential imprints as Femme Culture, Tratratrax, Nervous Horizon, 3024, Ninja Tune and Fabric Records, while beyond the dancefloor she has "produced soundtracks for dance works, and is an editor and member of GRIOT; a prolific collective, magazine, and media hub in Italy who focus their attention on the arts of Africa and its diaspora." She'll be joined by local heroes ajhoneysuckle and Hasji DJ for this very special occasion, serving up sublime frequencies within the subterranean environs of Whammy Bar in late May.
