Daily J Announce 'Slush Honey' Album Release Tour
Originally hailing from Blenheim, Tāmaki-based four-piece Daily J are set to launch the keenly awaited Side B of their new two-part album Slush Honey next month on the 12th of May, plus they'll be treating us to the rhythm of the waves on tour from June to July. Having brought their live boogie beachside at The Single Fin Mingle Street Party in Christchurch a few weeks ago, the group recently released their latest single ‘Honey’ from upcoming Side B. Swirling with sonic pop-rock colours of chill blue and golden daylight wash, the track’s sweet sounds run through our fingers like its title. Daily J begin their first Aotearoa tour in three years at Tāmaki’s Hollywood Cinema, wrapping up at their home ground in Blenheim’s Yard Bar before bouncing across the ditch for even more headline dates in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney. After a sold out Australian tour in October of ‘22, Daily J are excited to announce their first NZ tour in three years with 4 headline shows.
The band are half way through the release of their two part sophomore album Slush Honey. With Side A featuring their popular 2022 releases ‘Blue’, ‘Stay’ and ‘Tides’ along with their new single ‘Where Am I Gonna Go’, the band are proud to announce Side B will be out on the 12th of May and ready for audiences to see live for the first time on the Slush Honey tour this June and July.
