Iglooghost Auckland Headline Show Announced
The WavyLand team have been keeping the killer shows coming to Aotearoa at a furious clip in 2023. They've announced Irish-born English electronic polymath Iglooghost aka Seamus Rawles Malliagh is heading our way, headlining Tāmaki Makaurau's Neck Of The Woods as part of his debut Australasian tour. Releasing his 2017 long player Neō Wax Bloom via Flying Lotus' influential Brainfeeder imprint (who've also released numerous EPs by the artist), Iglooghost described his intricately assembled latest album Lei Line Eon (2019) as "a slow-motion squelching giga-detailed opus that smells like granite & perfume.” A core member of the Gloo collective — whose multi-media vision has encompassed A/V club performances, apparel, films, books and "strange online artifacts" — don't miss Iglooghost's first ever Aotearoa event this winter..
