Listen To Coast Arcade's Debut EP 'Next To Me'

Going from strength to strength since their debut single ‘Tattoo’ graced multiple local charts in 2022, Coast Arcade have released their debut Next To Me EP. Formed in 2021 by high school friends Bella Bavin, Chris and Nate Tims and Thom Boynton, the Tāmaki Makaurau group’s five song collection includes earlier singles ‘Highest Heights’ and 'Surf Club’ amongst a selection of fresh material — providing a heavy hitting, energetic profusion of bright, surf-rock energy on each track. Mixed and mastered by Jono Pearce (The Beths) as well as Oliver Devlin (Hans Pucket), Next to Me will be swiftly pursued by an accompanying video for the title track, followed up with their sold-out EP release show on the 27th of May at Morningside’s Big Fan. “I think this EP is an insight into where we’re at currently - a band of four friends who are 17-19 years old - and will be cool to look back on. The meanings behind each song vary from struggling friendships, love, a reflection on yourself and trying to find your way as a young person in the world today.
