Yon Loader is the new recording project led by James Stuteley (Carb on Carb, How Get), with producer / engineer Harry Lilley (First Move) and a rotating cast of collaborators from such mega-talented local crews as Recitals, Welcomer, For Everest, Bad Friend and Model Home (who are playing a single release party in Ōtautahi this Friday). Featuring lead vocals by Victoria Chellew (Bad Friend, Keeva), debut single ‘Another Year’ feels akin to the melancholic, diaristic emo-punk energy of their fellow Papaiti Records labelmates — imploring to listeners "Let’s forget how close this story is to its end."
