The Loving Arms Unveil Single / Video ‘Still Need Your Love’

Drawn from the group's recently released debut album Dreaming Over You, Aotearoa's The Loving Arms have come forth with mesmerising alt-country soul-inflected ballad 'Still Need Your Love', plus vintage accompanying visuals conjured up by Ruby Beesley. Showcasing vocals from co-lead singer Catherine Townsend and string accompaniment by Dave Khan (Reb Fountain), the Kerry Furlong-produced track expresses yearning towards a loved one during their absence, with co-lyricist Mark Beesley describing the track as expressing "being separated from someone who is fundamentally a part of you. When someone you love has gone, sometimes you see them everywhere." In celebration of their new long player, the group are playing as an expanded six-piece with lap steel player John Segovia this Saturday at Tāmaki Makaurau’s Big Fan with songwriter Jan Hellriegel — grab tickets and listen to Dreaming Over You below...
