Ponsonby Social Club Announce UBUNTU Festival 2023 Lineup
Following up March's epic run of 15th birthday events, Tāmaki Makaurau’s beating heart of live music Ponsonby Social Club have announced the lineup for 2023’s UBUNTU festival — "a month long celebration of African Musical Talent in New Zealand." Held across seven dates over the course of June and early July, this winter's festival hosts Zimbabwe-born saxophonist / composer Thabani Gapara, Lagos-born songwriter Chika Adeosun, Afro-soul artist Ch! Nonso, Afrobeat / disco / funk collective Fathe & The Sweetos, R&B / soul / jazz performer Keshia, soulful Amapiano artist Warren Duncan and the Afrobeat-inspired Ijebu Pleasure Club.
