JessB x Gold Fang Announce Auckland + Wellington Shows

Aotearoa hip hop icon JessB is joining forces with Sydney dancehall artist Gold Fang for an Australasian tour, hitting Pōneke's Valhalla on 30th June and Tāmaki Makaurau's Whammy Bar on 1st July — plus double-headline dates across the ditch in Sydney and Melbourne. Drawing from afro-beat and dancehall inspirations on JessB's new single 'Moment', the member of all-African Aotearoa hip hop crew BLKCITY has been paving the way for her new album (set for late 2023) with high profile international appearances at SXSW, BIGSOUND and The Great Escape festival. Emerging in 2021 with breakout single ‘Where Yuh From’, the fast-rising Trinidadian-born, Sydney-based Gold Fang is also celebrating fresh material in the form of his debut mixtape SMOOVE KILLA on the five date tour. To support the release of her new single ‘Moment’ Aotearoa’s JessB will embark on a four-date co-headlining tour with Sydney-based Gold Fang in June and July. The tour will take them to Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, and Wellington. This is a not-to-be-missed opportunity for fans to experience both artists high energy sound in intimate live settings.

‘Moment’ builds on the sound already explored on JessB’s last project ‘3 Nights in Amsterdam’ and expands on it introducing the next era of her musical journey. Since mid 2022, JessB has been touring globally including playing at SXSW, The Great Escape, BIGSOUND, whilst recording new music for her album scheduled for a late 2023 release.

This tour will also celebrate Gold Fang’s debut mixtape SMOOVE KILLA, released in March 2023. The 15 track project explores Gold Fang’s identity, culture, talent and community, and includes the sultry summer single ‘Drop‘, the rebellious ‘Big Natty Rasta‘, the dark and bass-heavy ‘Mi Nuh Like’ and his recent release ‘Spaceship.’
