Elemental Nights 2023 Final Lineup Announced ft. Fazerdaze, Kirin J Callinan, There's A Tuesday
Ōtautahi-based indie-pop icon Fazerdaze, Australian rock bad boy Kirin J Callinan (also playing New Plymouth and Wellington) and 2022 Silver Scroll finalists There's A Tuesday have joined the glittering lineup of musical talent that is Elemental Nights 2023, as part of Elemental AKL. Venturing beyond Tāmaki Makaurau's central city, all three new all-ages events will happen at Mount Albert War Memorial Hall in early August. These shows round out an already star-powered bill for Elemental Nights 2023 — including Bristol post-punks IDLES, Bic Runga presents Beautiful Collision, Grammy-nominated Swedish dark pop artist Tove Lo, and Mercury Prize-nominated South London hip hop hero Loyle Carner.
Riding a wave of acclaim for her Taite Music Prize-nominated first release in five years Break! and mega-catchy single collaboration with Voom, Fazerdaze's Amelia Murray will treat super city fans to a rare live appearance. Launching his new album If I Could Sing on 23rd June, Kirin J Callinan's career-spanning A Decade of EMBRACISM & Beyond tour includes not only an Auckland extravaganza but also headline dates in New Plymouth and Wellington. A rising songwriting force since the launch of their debut Dance With Me Before We Cry EP in 2020 (which led to them being swiftly signed by Benee's imprint Olive), There's A Tuesday will be joined for their Elemental Nights event by special guests Molly Payton (solo) and Heidi Simpson. Brought to you by Live Nation in association with Tātaki Auckland Unlimited, scope out the updated lineup details for Elemental Nights 2023 and move fast when new general public tickets go live at noon this Friday...
