Rancid Return With New Album 'Tomorrow Never Comes'

Sounding as riotous as the day 'Time Bomb' exploded onto local airwaves back in 1995, Rancid are back with their 10th studio album Tomorrow Never Comes. Roaming from the rowdy gang chants of the title track to almost Pogues-y knees-up 'Devil In Disguise', the veteran Berkeley, California four-piece of Tim Armstrong, Matt Freeman, Lars Frederkisen and Branden Steinekert wear their love for punk's storied history proudly on their sleeves on the new record while charging into the future head-first. Trimming the fat and cramming 16 breakneck anthems into less than 29 minutes, there's zero tender balladry here but tonnes of unabashed passion on every tune, with perhaps a sentimental streak running through the album as a whole, produced by Epitaph founder Brett Gurewitz (Bad Religion).
