Last in Aotearoa back in 2018, lending their boogie-inducing soul / RnB / rock talents to US megastar P!nk's tour, New South Wales' The Rubens have announced their long-awaited return this August for headline dates at Tāmaki Makaurau's The Tuning Fork and Pōneke's San Fran. The five-piece band of brothers Sammuel, Zaac and Elliott Margin, with friends Scott Baldwin and William Zeglis, have achieved a winning run since their last visit — launching their chart-smashing, ARIA Music Award-winning album (for Producer and Engineer of the Year) 0202 in 2021, then reemerging last month after two years downtime with ineffably catchy new single 'Pets and Drugs'. Already veterans of the stage who've played alongside such giants as Bruce Springsteen and The Black Keys, don't miss The Rubens toasting up dancefloors at the following dates...

Five-piece alternative rock band from Menangle, New South Wales, The Rubens return to Aotearoa with shows on Thu 10 August at The Tuning Fork, Auckland and Fri 11 August at San Fran, Wellington!

Their self-titled debut album released in 2012 saw them sell out several national tours, perform at every major Australian music festival, support several major acts (including Bruce Springsteen and Grouplove), and sell out shows worldwide. They also supported the Black Keys at Spark Arena (formerly known as Vector Arena) in NZ.

At the end of 2018, the band supported PINK on her 42-date arena tour across Australia and New Zealand to huge success, playing in front of 500,000 punters across the tour.

To date their entire catalogue has amassed over 200 million streams & 250,000 physical albums.

Since picking up Best Producer at the ARIA Awards in 2021, 2023 has seen new the band release their first new music in 2 years with a bunch of global shows to be announced. This tour is not to be missed!
