Ballot Box Drop Single / Video 'The Game' + 'Live In The Bathroom' Version

Rising Tāmaki Makaurau post-punks Ballot Box unveiled late last week a generosity of riches with their new single ‘The Game’, a special 'Live In the Bathroom' version, plus spine-tingling DIY videos for both numbers. Recorded at Noisefloor studios with local audio engineering legend Bob Frisbee, who also worked with the group on past releases ‘Free Nothing’ and ‘Hanuman’, Ballot Box barge forth into a sweltering and discordant guitar-driven frenzy, alongside super-charged, agitated vocals, centred around the conspiracy alluding hook, "They only have / eyes for you". The clip for the lead single, shows ever-changing shots of surveillance footage, edited by the group’s very own Spike Keith, with various locations shown through birdseye, camera operated views — while the frantic bathroom version shot by Silas Baden-Myers includes sax in the shower! Ballot Box are playing a triple header event this Thursday alongside Pōneke songwriter Rose Lubransky and drummer / vocalist duo Elliot and Vincent, here's the details...
