Tāmaki Makaurau's Whammy Bar warriors Dick Move are back with the announcement their second album Wet will be out on 6th October through 1:12 Records, led with buzzing first single / video 'Small Man, Big Tweet'. Produced by Peter Ruddell (Wax Chattels, Sulfate) and mastered by James Goldsmith at The Beths' K Road studio, the new tune captures the upcoming record’s fighting wit against the nauseating corners of society that span from exploitative landlords to Musk-y trolls.

Energetic and notably short, 'Small Man, Big Tweet' pokes fun at the overcompensatory behaviour of "dick-swingers" who slap their diehard opinions onto the figurative tables of social media and the literal ones beyond. The pointedly comedic video of a legal (I mean, masculinity) battle turned jousting duel of flopping dildos was directed once again by Stella Reid and made with the support of NZ On Air. It’s a must-see!

Dick Move will be joined by certified big swingers CINDY and Nuggiez at Tāmaki’s Backroom to celebrate their single release. I can attest that yelling “I wanna see your dick move!” with your best friends is one of the most cathartic statements you can make when seeing this fiery party-punk band live there. Legend says that shouting this ironically tomorrow night at the Backroom will hopefully scare the “dick-swingers” back into their tighty-whitey holes…
