KITA Announce 'Love Lives Here' Tour + Share Video 'Kites (Live From Ed's Room)'
Neo-soul triple hitters KITA thrill fans with the announcement of their spring The Love Lives Here tour, plus a live video for their song 'Kites' and the promise of a fizzing remix to come. The Pōneke trio of frontwoman / guitarist Nikita 雅涵 Tu-Bryant (who recently acted in Avatar: The Way of Water), producer / keys player Ed Zuccollo, and drummer Rick Cranson will bathe us in the red light of their recent Love Lives Here EP from September to October.
KITA now treat us to a live music video of their groove-riddled gritty-funk take on ‘Kites’, while Zuccollo’s ‘I’ll Dream of Sleep’ remix of ‘Mariana’s Trenchcoat’ will be out on 25th August. The group invite us into the eminent Ed’s Room in the capital's Newtown, where their music magic often starts, as captured by filmmaker Luiz Medeiros. Treating us to new music and a tour was never enough for the trio, as a four-part film experience will slip into our hands next year…

Press release:
Bold and vibrant Pōneke trio KITA announce the Love Lives Here tour, soon to be gracing stages across Aotearoa in celebration of their recently released second EP ‘Love Lives Here.’
Melding inspirations of folk, soul, pop and psychedelia with the guitar and spirited storytelling of musician-actor Nikita 雅涵 Tu-Bryant (Avatar 2, Far North); the thick lushness of Moog synth and Fender Rhodes from Ed Zuccollo (Zuke); and the filthy drive and barking drums of Rick Cranson (Little Bushman), KITA have long-since solidified themselves as a must-see live band with a massive sound.
