A Night With Luke Buda Wellington Event Announced

The Phoenix Foundation co-founder Luke Buda has been shoulder-tapped as the latest star of Hahko's (FODR) A Night With... series of live podcast and performance events, next happening at Te Whanganui-a-Tara's Vogelmorn Bowling Club on 17th August. Taite Music Prize finalist for his 2021 solo album BUDA and composer of soundtrack works with Moniker for Hunt For The Wilderpeople, Boy, Nude Tuesday, the forthcoming new Spongebob Squarepants movie and much more, Buda will play an intimate live set, chat with the now Ōtautahi-based podcasting personality and answer audience questions at this early Thursday evening event. 'A Night With BUDA' is an intimate live podcast and performance show with Wellington based composer, songwriter and producer Luke Buda.

Known for his work as a founding member of The Phoenix Foundation & composer for films such as 'Hunt For The Wilderpeople' & 'Boy' - Luke has had a long and successful career. In 2021 he self-released 'BUDA', a witty & ambitious solo record featuring the Springsteenesque 'Here Comes The Wind' as well as the catchy 'Candy'.
