Top twenty finalist for the 2023 Silver Scroll Award, Ebony Lamb today announces a seven date release tour for her tantalisingly imminent self-titled debut solo album, out 20th October via Nadia Reid's Slow Time Records. Recorded in collaboration with local legends Bic Runga and Kody Nielson, along with long-term collaborative partner Gram Antler, the Pōneke-based songwriter’s inaugural long player aspires to urge listeners to follow their instincts and remain watchful of what is most important. The icing on the cake is yearning new single 'Salt Sand Sea' — launched today with sparkly textured visuals created by Studio ELGA, featuring moody footage of Lamb and bandmates adventuring around the craggy coastline of Muritai and Pariwhero / Red Rocks...

“It evokes ideas and values that carry a similar weight to the natural world. The line “Give me some more” is about wanting depth of character. While we sway about in popular culture, the elements - the salt, the sand, the sea - remain steadfast.”
