Sydney-based sensation Donny Benét is finally returning to Aotearoa, ten years since gracing local stages as part of the frankly quite staggering all-electronic Square Wave festival lineup. He hasn't been putting his feet up in the interim, unleashing killer tune after tune on his studio albums Mr Experience (2020) — finalist for the ARIA Best Adult Contemporary Album award — The Don (2018), and Weekend at Donny's (2014), with the title track to last year's Le Piano EP being a dancefloor-igniting / office boogie staple on local student radio airwaves.
