Tāmaki Makaurau’s punk-powered Miss June are all set to return to local stages in celebration of their forthcoming single ‘MLE’, the first track to be revealed from their new sophomore album. Having warmed the stage for emo-rock royalty My Chemical Romance earlier this year at Western Springs, following the Taite Music Prize nominated success of their debut record Bad Luck Party, the quartet fronted by Annabel Liddell are back in action, soon to be sharing their latest sound “inspired by the mayhem and chaos of the past two years”. Don’t miss these explosive shows before Miss June head off for their trans-Tasman adventure and keep your ears peeled for 'MLE'…

Press release:

Come party with the Tāmaki Makaurau punk quartet Miss June as they make their way through Aotearoa this September in celebration of their new single 'MLE'.

This will be the band’s first release from their Sophomore album that brings a fresh sound inspired by the mayhem and chaos of the past two years. Having already caught the attention and support of bands such as The Foo Fighters, Idles and Shellac, Miss June’s first album “Bad Luck Party” saw them touring the world, developing a growing following and being nominated for a Taite Music Award. Hot off the heels of the pandemic, Miss June returned in 2023 to support My Chemical Romance at Western Springs Park. Here they showcased their trademark infectious live energy and proved they haven’t missed a beat since their debut. This is a tour you don’t want to miss out on!
