Cloudboy Reuniting For Nationwide Tour
One of Aotearoa's very finest avant-pop groups of the artistically fertile, oft-misrepresented era known as the late '90s / early '00s, Cloudboy are reuniting for a five date nationwide tour this November and December. They'll be celebrating the remastered vinyl LP reissue of their spellbinding 2001 album Down at the End of the Garden via Flying Nun Records — when it launched in April we said Cloudboy were "a world class project... who ought to have been globally famous the first time around".
The touring band includes inimitable vocalist Demarnia Lloyd, Craig Monk, Johannes Contag (all of whom created the album), original drummer Heath Te Au and John White (Mestar), with accompanying live visuals by Ōtautahi photographer / film-maker Stuart Lloyd-Harris. A dreamlike treat for the senses, these events will likely be your only chance to experience the near-mythical Ōtepoti collective performing their classic record. Nearly every show will be all-ages (aside from Loons) so no excuses, don't miss Cloudboy at the dates following...
