Thee Golden Geese Unleash Single / Video '95bFM Top Ten'

Tāmaki Makaurau's rockin' foursome Thee Golden Geese have hatched their most ambitious plan to date, a full length album and vinyl LP entitled Bird of the Year 2023, out in full on 27th October via 1:12 Records. Thee aforementioned Geese gift fans a glimpse at the good stuff to come with ripper new single / video '95bFM Top 10', an incredibly catchy ode to every Aotearoa musician's dream of arising to the apex of local student radio fame. From personal experience, there is no comparable feeling to reigning supreme in the number one throne, peering downwards like a musical king at the ant-like runners up below.

They recruited Sports Team's Annabel Kean and Callum Devlin to create the accompanying clip, who not so coincidentally also co-host the 95bFM Top Ten show each Wednesday from 7pm until 9pm (after which Taylor MacGregor's Freak The Sheep takes over the airwaves). A video which starts creepy only gets wilder. Promising to give up completely if they don't reach number one, Thee Golden Geese enact an unadvisable scheme to make their chart-hitting dreams come true. Currently raising funds for their micro-budget Untitled Sports Team Horror Film project, Sports Team have organised a special screening of their The Beths concert movie Auckland, New Zealand, 2020 at Avondale's Hollywood Cinema on 14th November. Also on a fundraising drive, the champions at 95bFM have put together the super stacked Save The b! event at Auckland Town Hall just before Christmas (full details HERE).
