As the search for our Bird of The Century draws closer, Ōtepoti's Koizilla today release their latest single ‘Ornithology’ from their upcoming album due early next year via trace / untrace records. The new track is a percussion-heavy trip of descending riffs about flying away towards better things. Mastered by Stephen Marr, recorded by Jackson Kidd and mixed by Zac Nicholls, the song hints towards the latest burgeoning psych rock sounds of the southern four-piece. From tomorrow, they will be swimming downstream on tour with Soft Bait, DJ Tommy T, Jilter Off Kilter, Cruelly, Denude and Butcher's Model Glue — starting from Tāmaki towards Pōneke, to finally settle at their hometown’s Crown Hotel.
