Watch Bulletbelt's Video For 'City Of One'
Rallying the troops in support of Texan crossover thrash kings D.R.I. (Dirty Rotten Imbeciles) this February, Bulletbelt unveil new visuals for the Pōneke metal mavericks' tribute to their windswept harbour hometown 'City Of One'. Filmed and edited by vocalist Diego Attinger while the group were touring Europe supporting Brazil's Semblant, the video for 'City Of One' is a document of Bulletbelt's pummelling riff-powered energy onstage — spliced together with myriad sights and antics shot during their twelve date October odyssey. Featured on their new album Burn It Up, which hit the number one spot on the Official Top 20 NZ Albums chart on initial launch in September, smash play on the clip below and don't miss Bulletbelt with D.R.I. at the dates following...
"City Of One is a love letter to our home city Wellington. Escaping the small town I lived in as a teenager and moving to the city was a big breath of fresh air and opened my eyes to all the amazing art, music, food and beautiful landscape that Wellington offers. We live in a paradise down here and Wellington is vibrant, full of creative people and I can be at the beach or be running in the hills within 15 minutes of the CBD. As creative people it's a great place to live.
We shot the video footage on our recent European Tour and the theme of the song fit so well with all the amazing European cities we visited. Immersing ourselves into the European Metal culture and experiencing the uniqueness of what each city, venue and country had to offer. Like Wellington, each city had its own vibe and was indeed a City Of One!" — Bulletbelt drummer Steve Francis
