Demons Of Noon Unveil Debut Album 'Death Machine'
Demons of Noon greet the first day of summer in Aotearoa with the scorched metal expanses of their long-awaited debut album Death Machine. The Tāmaki Makaurau "cult doom" six piece evoke robe-enshrouded, language-defying ceremonies and forgotten cursed realms on opener 'Echolalia', moving glacially from brooding atmospherics to bone-crushing riff worship over its eight minute plus span. Recorded with Tom Anderson, mixed by James Goldsmith and mastered by James Plotkin, Death Machine is a work of supernatural collective focus — ranging in intensity from the madness-inducing stomp of 'Succession' to the malevolent thrashing of 'Coward', to the awe-inspiring, orb-pondering 'Sphere Of Peace'. Hailed as "my favourite new heavy band from New Zealand" by Nathan 'Nato' Hickey of Beastwars, you can order Demons of Noon's inaugural long player on limited vinyl LP HERE via Evil Feast Records. Don't miss vocalists Aria Jones and Tamsyn Matchett, guitarists Abraham Kunin and Scott Satherley, bassist Jonathan Burgess, and Joseph McElhinney on drums tearing open a hell mouth live this Saturday at The Wine Cellar, and at Pōneke's Valhalla on 14th December...
