Spring Break + Teen Wolf + Disciples Of Macca Auckland Xmas Party Announced
Separated by oceanic expanses for far too long, dancefloor dynamite duo Spring Break are reuniting for a sizzling Xmas shindig at Tāmaki Makaurau's Whammy Bar. The party-loving pair of Blaise and Freberits (aka Ryan McPhun of the Ruby Suns and James Dansey of Thee Golden Geese) will be joined by similarly reunited local legends Teen Wolf – Taite Music Prize winner Chelsea Nikkel (Princess Chelsea), Brad Fafejta (Créme Jéan, Dictaphone Blues) and and Vincent Lum (Vincent H.L) — and Paul McCartney obsessed supergroup Disciples Of Macca for one heck of a festive rager. Dress to sweat on 21st December and read our classic chinwag with Spring Break (published back during the pre-pandemic days of 2019) HERE...
"A lot has changed since these three supergroups graced the stages and stained shed carpets of Aotearoa. What hasn't changed is their desires to wear short shorts and dance and sing, shred nu wavey dance tunes, and ruin Paul McCartney's post-Beatles oeuvre.
Let's celebrate making it through another year together by descending the steps to Whammy Bar to put a little cherry on top of 2023's muck."
