Good Habits Returning To New Zealand For Nationwide Tour
Featuring Bonnie Schwarz on cello and vocals with Pete Shaw on accordion, Manchester folk duo Good Habits were "happily stranded" in Aotearoa during our turbulent pandemic era of '20 / '21. Returning for an extensive nationwide tour from New Years Eve onwards, the songwriting pair launched their latest album Antipody after they departed our shores in 2021 — "a collection of uniquely personal musical stories informed by the valuable life lessons this mad year has offered". Joined by fellow UK folk travellers Mishra for a handful of dates, Good Habits' marathon itinerary includes festival appearances at WOMAD NZ and Golden Bay's Lunasa Festival, tour details below...

Press release:
One of the most exciting new folk duos to come out of the UK, Good Habits’ award-winning, genre-fusing sound has received international critical acclaim in the short 3 years they have been performing, resulting in performances at Glastonbury, and other major festivals around the world. In 2020-2021 they: performed in NZ at CubaDupa and TSB Festival of Lights; played over 150 gigs around the country; and recorded their last album “Antipody”.
Composed of Bonnie Schwarz (cello + vocals) and Pete Shaw (accordion), the pair mix virtuosic musicianship and vocal harmony with vivid storytelling, drawing on their diverse musical tastes and weaving them into an action-packed narrative of folky goodness. After a pandemic spent happily stranded in New Zealand, they returned back to the UK to spread their joyous music throughout Europe.
